Development
As a property development company we work on projects from inception to completion. Through direct investment or with a joint venture partner we will run the planning, construction management with end occupiers in mind. More often than not, in this economic climate, the project is prelet or presold thereby de-risking the project and enhancing returns
Refurbishment
The balance between refurbishment and knock down new build needs careful interpretation and financial modelling. The planning constraints for each heavily influence the decision together with the needs of the surrounding marketplace. GDL have spent considerable time and effort promoting both employment and residential sites through the current plan process to include District, Borough and Neighbourhood plan procedures.
Until now the Governments’ focus has been the delivery of houses. GDL have and continue to seek more land to buy and/or promote employment use.
