Ferndown: Cobham Gate

We have contracted to purchase the final 23 acres of Ferndown Industrial Estate, a fully occupied and successful commercial area linked to the A31 to the north of the Bournemouth/Poole conurbation.

 

Ferndown

 

The site is greenfield but allocated in the Local Plan as industrial expansion land. A planning application supported by a full environmental impact assessment will be submitted in September 06 for 400,000sqft of B1, B2 and B8 development.

 

A private equity syndicate has provided finance for the purchase,enabling works and first phase.

 

We anticipate commencement of enabling works in July 2007 with construction of a first phase of in excess of 200,000sqft in October 2007.

Premises from 20,000sqft to 70,000sqft are available both freehold and leasehold on a design and build basis.

 

Premises from 2,000sqft to 70,000sqft will be available freehold or leasehold from completion of each phase.
